The Rotary Club of Morganton is pleased to announce their selection for the Bob Shepherd Distinguished Person of the Year for 2023, Amy Jackson-Kincaid.

Amy Jackson-Kincaid is a District Administrator for the Guardian ad litem program which is administered through the NC State Administrative Office of Courts.  She began her career with the program as a volunteer in 2013, hired as a full-time Program Supervisor in 2017 and most recently promoted as the Guardian ad litem District Administrator.  She was awarded a Certificate for Professional Excellence by NC Chief Justice Paul Newby at the Guardian ad litem Statewide Conference in October 2022.

The Rotary Club of Morganton will host an event to honor Amy on Friday, August 16 at 6PM at the Burke Arts Council, 506 S. Sterling Street, Morganton.  Tickets for the event can be purchased for $30 from members of the Morganton Rotary Club, or from Mimosa Insurance, 207 N. Sterling Street, Morganton.
