Rotary Club of Morganton Swears in New President

The Rotary Year runs from July 1 - June 30 and the Rotary Club of Morganton installed their new president at the regular weekly meeting on June 26, 2014. Kim Van Sickler was presented with the gavel by outgoing president Greg Cairnes. Greg recapped his year as president and thanked his Board of Directors who strongly supported him throughout his term as president of the Club. New president Kim then introduced her new Board of Directors and Club Officers. Kim has a lot of new things in store for her year as president including focusing on Club members’ vocations, the re-introduction of “Happy Dollars” to raise money for the CART fund (Alzheimer’s Research) and, most of all, having fun! We are looking forward to Kim’s year as leader of the Club and all the great things we will do together to serve the Morganton and Burke County community.
