Rotary Donates to The Enola Group

The Rotary Club of Morganton has fulfilled a grant request from The Enola Group in the amount of $4370 to establish their Cozy Bottoms Cloth Diaper Bank.  Nancy Wood, Community Engagement Director for The Enola Group, joined the weekly meeting of the Rotary Club of Morganton on February 14 to speak about their organization and provide information about the cloth diaper bank. A first for our community, the cloth diaper bank will address diaper needs for families with young children. Participating families will receive a starter kit along with education and support to help make cloth diapering successful for them. Because cloth diapers can be reused many times, the Cozy Bottoms Cloth Diaper Bank creates a sustainable resource in our community supporting those with infants and toddlers. This project is aligned with two of Rotary’s areas of focus: saving mothers & children and protecting the environment.
